1. Enabling of Visual Basic for Applications
Open Control Panel.
In Windows XP or Windows 7 you can open Control Panel using Main Menu appearing after clicking Start button in the left bottom corner of the screen (big round button in Windows 7).
If "Classic Start Menu" is used so the Control Panel can be launched from Settings Start Menu item.
In the Control Panel open Add or Remove Programs.
In Windows 7 - Remove Program.
In the window Add or Remove Programs click on Microsoft Office and then push the button Change.
In Windows 7 you should click right button of mouse on Microsoft Office then select Change in the pop-up menu.
In the window of Microsoft Office Installer select Add or Remove features.
Check the box Choose advanced customisation of applications and push button Next.
Click on "+" in front of Office Shared Features. Click setting bar in front of Visual Basic for Applications. In pop-up menu click Run from My Computer and finally push button Update.
2. Setting of the Security Level of Macros
almaGRID software has to access to Visual Basic for Applications. Please grant access to the VBA project by marking of "Trust access to the Visual Basic Project". After using of this software you should set this checkbox in accordance with your security policy.
2.2. Office 2003
Open Security window for Macros: Tools / Macro / Security...
On the tab "Security level" select option "Medium".
On the tab "Trusted Publishers" tick option "Trust access to Visual Basic Project" and push the button "Ok".
2.3. Office 2007
Open "Excel Options": Excel / Excel Options
On the tab "Trust Center" push the button "Trust Center Settings ...".
On the tab "Macro Settings" tick the option "Trust access to the VBA project object model" and push the button "Ok".
3. Enabling of Macro in the Workbook
The almaGRID software creates and uses macro in the Excel workbook. For normal operation of almaGRID
- while saving workbook containing grids please use file format appropriate for storage of macro (Excel 2007 and later);
- while opening workbook containing grids please grant Excel permission to run macto stored in the workbook.

Excel 2007 or later prompt for enabling of macro in the workbook. In order to enable macro push the button "Options...",
and then assume this document as "Trusted" by pushing "Yes" button.
